Archy Marshall, better known as King Krule, has shared a cover of John Lennon’s iconic ballad “Imagine,” from Lennon’s 1971 album of the same name. The musician posted the track on Bandcamp yesterday (January 23), with a brief statement: “Recorded in sweat, last summer, for a friend.”

His latest studio album was released last year, titled Man Alive!. Since the release of the album, Krule has been fairly quiet until he released a 32-minute performance filmed for Jehnny Beth’s French TV show Echoes. He also dropped a music video for the Man Alive! track “Comet Face,” directed by filmmaking duo CC Wade.
